How to Mount Amazon S3 Buckets in China

Amazon S3 in China is a separate and isolated cloud storage to meet the local government regulations, and provide high-speed and low latence connection to end-users based in China.

As of Feb 2021 two regions are supported in China - Beijing and Ningxia

With TntDrive you can easily mount buckets in Amazon S3 China regions.

To start working with Amazon S3 in China you need to sign up for a separate set of account credentials unique to Amazon S3 in China storage. Customers with existing AWS credentials will not be able to access resources in Amazon S3 in China, and vice versa.

To mount Amazon S3 in China buckets:

1. Start TntDrive Dashboard and click Accounts, Add new account.

Add New Account dialog will open:

2. Choose Amazon S3 in China as account type.

3. Specify Access Key ID and Secret Access Key.

4. Turn on Use secure transfer (SSL/TLS) - if you would like to encrypt all communications with the storage.

5. Click Add new account

You can now add new mapped drive with this account.
